Do you want a healthy, happy, well-behaved dog
that is a valued member of your family?
Enrol in Puppy Pre-School today!
RVC Puppy Pre-School is a fun, interactive way to socialise your puppy, learn about training and lay a good foundation for their future.
The course includes the following topics:
dog behaviour
puppy nutrition
toilet training
how to prevent biting and jumping
basic obedience commands
puppy health care and much more
Puppy Pre-School classes are run by RVC nurses. Each course runs over 4 weeks and is held at the Rangiora clinic in the evenings.
Puppies need to be between 8 – 16 weeks old, and have had their first vaccination.
Confidence building is an important part of the course. The pictures below show some of our graduates practising the exercise of getting on and off unfamiliar surfaces.
The course cost is $140.00 which is excellent value, with each pup, along with the training also receiving treatments, vouchers and products. Payment options are available.
Places are limited, and classes fill up fast. As soon as you know the date you will be bringing your new puppy home to join your family, give us a call and we can put your name down for a class that suits your puppy’s age, and vaccination schedule.
Please phone 03 313 7438 or click on the button below to enquire via email, or visit any one of our clinics in Rangiora, Kaiapoi or Woodend to enquire in person.
Puppy Pre-School Payment & Cancellation Policy
Due to the specific age requirements and the need for a well-balanced socialisation environment, full payment for the four-week Puppy Pre-School programme is required no later than three (3) business days prior to the first scheduled class. This payment confirms your attendance and secures your puppy’s place in the programme.
Refunds will not be provided for missed classes once the programme has commenced.
A full refund may be issued if cancellation is requested at least three (3) business days before the first class. This allows us the opportunity to offer the placement to another suitable puppy.
A cancellation fee may apply if the vacancy created by your cancellation cannot be filled.
