"Animal Physiotherapy is a specialist field treating orthopaedic or neurological conditions a well as overall health and fitness. Many conditions benefit from physiotherapy, from post-operative rehabilitation to hip dysplasia to arthritis and the geriatric patient. Treatments are specific to the animals' needs but may include laser, ultrasound, therapeutic massage, exercises for stabilisation and strengthening, osteopath joint mobilisations, electric stimulation and manual therapy. Most patients are given an easy home programme to speed the healing process"
