Kaiapoi Vet Clinic strives to deliver excellence to its very loyal clients and is situated on the doorstep of Christchurch with less than an hour from Canterbury’s natural playground that provides skiing, fishing, boating, mountain biking, hunting, and hiking.


About the Position:

We are looking for a qualified veterinary nurse to join our team. The position is approximately 30 hours per week, working across the weekdays (excluding Wednesday’s) including some late nights, as well as every second Saturday morning (8:00 am – 11:00 am).

The position is varied and interesting and involves nurse consults, surgical and customer service duties.

We are seeking someone who is positive, proactive, have fantastic people skills, attention to detail and be reliable and calm under pressure.

The ideal applicant MUST hold as a minimum a certificate in veterinarian nursing and your customer service skills will also need to be top notch, you will be well supported through a comprehensive training and an induction period by the team of 1-2 vets and 2-3 nurses at our Kaiapoi Clinic with the additional support of the larger Rangiora Vet Centre team.
